The Road: The Game.

OP: Travel to the afterlife in search of your best friend (who is in turn looking for his deceased wife), only to discover that it's a mishmash of endless forest, mountains, bog, swamp, and moor suspended in perpetual misty twilight where the hapless dead try to make a "living" in the harsh environment; become their hero and return to the earth by defeating the nine predatory creatures who roam these unforgiving lands.

I cheated, a sentence that long shouldn't exist.

No, its actually based on an idea from extra creditz, I haven't really seen the movie, nor read the book

You play a paranormal investigator solving a mystery by acting out the events leading up to the murder of a ghost haunting a theater whom is only coaxed into showing itself by acting at midnight; the player uses lighting and, often silhouetted, props to reveal the story.

Tennessee Waltz

An RPG set in the South in the late 1940's where Orpheus, a musician from Memphis who lost his muse, Anansi the spider, and a guitarist who became left handed after selling his soul must search for the Muses of the Blues, Jazz, and Rock and Roll, so they can descend into Hell to challenge the Devil and win back Eurydice.
