Moonstone - awesome for it's time. The bloody Knight vs. Knight combat was terrific.

Antaeus Rising - terrific game, with a game engine which was - for the time - amazing.

Turrican 2. Side scrolling awesomeness.

GEX most badass lizard ever

and that submarine shooter that no one remembers including me cause I can't think what the names was...

First 2 games I ever owned and I remember them being awesome tho I haven't played them in years and don't even own a Sega anymore. Tho if I went back and played them now I would probably think they were shit.

Also Abe's exodus

all the oddworld games are awesome

Enchanted Arms.
I love this game even though I hate JRPG's. It was just fun, and the play style was a different version of turn based gameplay.
Alas, no one remembers this game. So I guess I'll just enjoy it myself. Weird gay guy, and all.

Cultures 2: The Gates of Asgard.

I've been messaged by one person on this forum who's heard of it...

Think of it as Age of Empires meets The Sims. It was delightful fun.

Rise of Nations. Such an underated RTS. It might even be my allt ime favorite game. But no one else cares.
I'm with you. Rise of Nations is easily my favorite RTS, but it seems like no one's heard of it.

It's basically Civilization in an hour with the clunky warfare replaced with awesome.

Parasite Eve.

It had a big company, a sequel, a cool mix of Silent Hill type creepiness and action RPG goodness and it was well received by critics. Yet I hear people go on and on about Legend of Dragoon and other RPGs of that era, but no one ever gives Parasite Eve the love it deserves...
Make that two of us, though i never did play the sequel.

Has anyone heard of a game called "Sacrifice." It was sort of an RTS game, except you played as the games protagonist and had spells and such. Almost like an RPG-RTS very different, I enjoyed playing it a while back but I'm pretty sure it was a complete flop of a game

Kiss Psycho Circus and Rise of the Triad. Both games I played as a little kid (maybe demos) and only found again somewhat recently to play again for nostalgia. I have no idea how obscure they are for their time, but they are at least a little for being old.
Rise of the Triad? HELL YEAH!! I played that game daily for many many months when I was about 10 years old. It was awesome!! It was basically ghe sequel to Wolfenstein 3D. I loved the fact that you could use two pistols akimbo in that as well, only back then it was still referred to as John Woo style. Oh yeah, and you could take shrooms in that game also. That is still one of my favorite computer games of all time, easily.

Rollcage on Playstation was a favourite of mine. Really fun racer.
OMG od damnit Rollcage was awesome! ^^ I love how you can destroy buildings to mess up your opponents, it's like a much better, much older Split/Second.

OT: I have a few actually;
Future Cop: LAPD on PS1. It's an awesome game that needs a reboot by EA.
War of the Monsters on PS2. An epic monster brawling game with fully destructible environments.
Ghost in the SHell on PS1. A gamne based on the anime film of the same name, you get to drive a tachikoma around and mess shit up.
And finally Colony Wars on PS1. It was a space fighter game based on and above various planets where you fought other clans of fighters for control. It rocked.

If anyone knows about any of these games reply to this and we can reminisce.

Primal Rage ate so many of my quarters when I was a kid. It was a 2D fighting game with dinosaurs.
I played that at my Grandmother's house on her Super Nintendo. Had no clue what the fuck was going on in that game.

Primal. I can't remember if it was any good, though.
Was that the one with the Girl having to go to 4 different worlds(one full of Hunters, one full of Wraiths, one full of Fish-People, and another full of Fire Djinn)?
Yes, yes it was. There was also a little gargoyle sidekick, who became distinctly badass in the endgame.
I played that up until the Djinn level. At that point I think I just used cheats.

Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway.

It's the best WW2 shooter ever made with amazing voice acting and is still to this day the only video game that has made me cry.

Yet I hear nothing about it.
