Have you ever played a game, used a game mechanic, or seen a plot hole, asked yourself why, and then didn't want to hear the answer because of how sick or weird it must be.
Example:I was playing threw Fallout 3, when I got to Little Lamplight. After listening to a few holotapes, I soon realized those kids had been trapped down there for two hundred years. I then asked myself "Wait, how are they still alive? Are these the same kids? Were did these ones come from-Nevermind. I don't want to know."

Edit:WOO-Hoo! I've Gone Gonzo!

No, it's made very clear on your first visit that children are thrown out when they reach 18. Your visit to big town also confirms this. The town was founded by a class trip (or something) gone wrong when the bombs fell cira 2070. The adults died from something(I forgot, maybe it was the fungus). I never found out how there are new child citizens added to Lamplight. Perhaps they have a lot of hot, unprotected, underage teen intercourse before they get thrown out.

My question, while involving a game, isn't strictly about games, is one that bothers me. Why don't superheroes kill the villains instead of taking them in to escape later? The real answer is so the villains can keep coming back, but it really bothers me. For example, Batman Arkham Asylum. So many of the guards were killed, many in horrible ways, and it could have been avoided if Batman had just killed Joker. I know that he doesn't do it due to personal issues, but it's really rather stupid to me and would only get me angry if I knew the full answer.

Here was one I can think of off the top of my head that I'm happy never gets a proper answer.

In Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask, why is it when you walk into that little room that resembles a bathroom in the Stockpot Inn at night a hand pops out and demands paper?

Someone should make a mod for that.

Does it really matter, the Team Fortress 2 one? It is a multiplayer game.

Well there's a massive backstory explained in the comics about how there are two brothers from Mann. Co and they had some financial thingy that screwed them over and now they hate each other or something... SEE WHAT I MEAN? It's boring, unneccesary and badly thought-out. Pff.

For TF2 at least, it has an answer, but since you posted here, I'll assume you don't want to know.

OT: Why, in all of Kratos' blind rage toward everything God/Goddess-related, does he leave exactly one Goddess alive? He already had his fun, why not go for the full count and kill her when he's done? It wouldn't be any harder than killing Hera... or did he leave Aphrodite around for other reasons... reasons which wouldn't make sense unless you saw the part f the ending after the credits... ya know, just forget it. I don't want to break my mind. If I wanted that, I'd go play my MGS trilogy pack... though I've yet to get 4.

Think about it. Batman would be 10% as interesting if he didn't have his stigma against killing.

OT: Why did my wife stay with me after I murdered all of bowerstone's citizens in Fable 2?

I know from a person outside their world, and most batman films would be MUCH shorter as he'd likely be a crack shot, but it's still a bit weird.

And the answer is obviously because your character can fart on command. Women love that. :p
