mass effect series navigating menus and upgrades was such a hassle it just sucked all the fun out of the game plus in my opinion there was way to much dialogue trees, hey don't get me wrong i loved fallout's dialogue trees i even spec'd in speech for my main character but for some reason i can just not get used to ME's

Racing games - I find them boring. I don't know why, even when they have power-ups, I still can't get into them.

Sports games - I would much rather play the actual sport. Plus the whole $60/year for a roster update.

Fighting games - Any time I can take time and learn moves, and STILL lose to someone who doesn't even know the controls, and just pushes buttons.

Puzzle Games - I have Tetris and flash games, those are the only puzzle games I need. Yeah, I don't like Catherine either. I don't mind puzzles in games, but I don't like when that is ALL the game contains.

As for specific games: I can't bring myself to beat Shadows of the Damned, despite being on the final boss. And I haven't played Little Big Planet 2 after beating the tutorial world. Oh and both Dead Rising games. Played for a while, got to a boss I couldn't beat and just said "fuck it"

Resident Evil 5.

I played RE 2 when it came out long ago and enjoyed playing through it, but when I played 5 and found that you STILL couldn't walk + aim I was baffled. Around the time I was being chased by a crazy guy with a chainsaw I just thought fuck this and stopped playing altogether.

How does that happen? How can a game exist today, with all the developments, and you still can't aim and walk? This guy was a cop and now he's battling zombies and he can't figure out how to do two things at once?

Yeah, that game really pisses me off.

Any Final Fantasy game.

I just don't see the point in turn-based combat its such a boring way to handle a battle sequence especially in modern games. It was probably great back in the day when people were playing their NES and had more of an attention span nowadays I don't think it fits at all. Also the characters are annoying and at some point its going to make you grind for at 1/3 of the gameplay just so it can boast that its a 60 hour video game. I see right through your bullshit Square Enix. Might as well throw all other RPGs on this too though its mostly JRPGs because I do like Fallout 3 and I plan on getting Skyrim when it comes out.

I also like Kingdom Hearts because it doesn't have turn-based combat and it didn't require me to grind endlessly just to beat the game. But other than that any thing Square Enix makes can go straight in the garbage as far as I'm concerned.

The new GTA games. I can't stand the controls... and I can't get past the re-branding.

For me, its Starcraft. I grew up playing C&C games, so when I tried Starcraft I felt that it was really sluggish. The long ass build times and absolutely retarded pathing on half the units just finished it off.

Metroid other M , i just can't do it. About a month ago the game wqs taunting me because i never finished it , so i convinced myself i was goinv to play and finish it. I sat down minded to play and finish it, i lasted 4 hours before i wantex to bash my head into a wall for buying the game. I bought it and i will finish it eventually ( because i have a need to finish every game i buy eventually, i got 25 unfinished games that i am going through one by one), but not in the near futur, metroid other M won the batlle but i WILL win the war.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Simply because my fear of the dark. I thought my fear of creepy dark areas was gone after I played through the FEAR series (say what you want, first FEAR was scary at times). I was wrong.

Pretty much any online MMO.
I'm one of these people that if allowed to play this kind of game, will go overbroad. I would slowly start to become obessed and then...yea, my social life would be down the toilet. Having played Prefect World I know this would happen.

Also, most of the Timesplitter horror based levels. I don't know why but they scare me more than most horror based thing.

I can't play racing games, sports games, and GTA games; sports and racing are too boring (and I'm bad at them) and GTA...I don't know those games are just not fun to me.

Sports games, and I'm excluding extreme, more fictional ones like NBA Ballers, NBA Street, and NFL Blitz.
RPGs that don't look appealing to me.
Shooters that are related to war (Call of Duty and Battlefied).

That's all I can think of.

Guitar Hero or Rock Band... I would rather play a real instrument and get more fulfillment out of it by learning new songs or making my own. Aside from some of the good songs not even being the licensed recordings but rather covers (and bad ones at that) I've never really understood the draw of guitar hero-style games. I guess its the whole "I can be rockstar" angle.

MMORPGs because I just know that I'd get hooked, especially with how much of an obsessive completionist I am.

Also, Halo games; I bought Halo 3 on day 1, played it for a couple months and hadn't touched it since. Ever since I got into Left 4 Dead, I can't play Halo because of Master Chief's agonizingly slow walking speed.

I just can't play Oblivion. I just can't stay interested in it for long. I could try to give reasons but the whole thing just doesn't agree with me.

BioShock. The sad thing is that I know it's wonderful. I just can't take the frenetic nature of the thing. If anything, there's too much immersion. The setting and story points are amazing, but I just can't play it...

Sports games would be my first thought.

My other was a Kung Fu Panda game I got for my 10th birthday, and an Avatar game which was just..... terrible

"For me it has to be Dante's Inferno.
Everything just seems so wrong about it."

Such as?

And I just tried to play Alpha Protocol again after people are still calling it a good game. Its shit. I played it through the first time, and it was shit, and I tried again to see if I was missing something, and its shit. Its a third-person game and the camera doesn't even fucking work!
I have a moral obligation against mudering babies.
At least thats what i've heard.
Plus i played the demo, didn't much like it.
I haven't played it, but i have the game.

Just really doesn't appeal to me, and i can't bring myself to play it.
I have moral obligation against buying game and then not playing it :D It's not a baby but a bunch of pixels, I think people should take games as such.

Just think about what makes most of the "Games" (mind the capital G :p) great, it sure ain't shooting thing of any shapes (not even in milestone FPSs).

And I just can't play Oblivion. Tried and failed to find excitement behind it (friend borrowed it to me saying how awesome it is, so no I did not break my own moral obligations xD).

Morrowind, the combat detracts from the experience enough to make the game unplayable for me.
