yeah you said one... but i gotta do both... since they both changed the way i veiwed the world i was alot younger then... and didnt realy think about alot of things... but these games showed me whole other worlds and ways to live, and the also probably also played a big part in the fact that i spent my time during highschool as an avid hiker...

Tales of Symphonia for getting me into the crazy awesome world of JRPGs. And at the moment actually Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown has me really interested in all fighters.

Pokemon Gold for being my first game.
Starcraft for introducing me to the range of mature games, as well as an incredibly complex range of internet games
Halo 2 for fun times with friends
Star Wars Republic Commando for getting me into reading.
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War for getting me into Warhammer 40k.
^And thanks to the magic of the Sci-Fi section, I was able to find Warhammer 40k books.
Age of Empires 2 for spurring my interest in history.
Dawn of War 2 for requiring me to have steam, thus introducing me to the magic.

Super Mario Brothers for being my first game.

Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, and Crystalis for teaching me various words and improving my reading skills when I was a kid.

Mario Kart 64, Star fox 64, Tetris Attack, and Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven for being the games I spent the most time playing against my friends.

Well, the first one to come to my mind is Brain Age, for changing the way I write the number 9.

I used my DS for Brain Age almost exclusively for several months (yay sudoku), and in that time, because it didn't recognize the way I used to write the number nine, I trained my hand to alter the way I wrote to make it easier. To this day I still write my nine's the way I did on my DS.

Brain Age writing is a ***** to get used too (damn you percentage symbols and your adding 30+ seconds to my brain age test)

OT: Basically my first PS2 games; Kingdom Hearts, Star Wars Battlefront, and NFS Hot Pursuit 2.
Also Republic Commando for being badass enough for it to be the only xbox game i have a copy of.

I pretty much learned how to read playing Link's Awakening.

And I learned to read well playing Breath of Fire 3.
