I'm 30 and there's only one time in my life where I was absolutely sure I was going to die (climbing in Yosemite) and before I somehow caught myself from falling I thought about how I was going to die alone and I asked God to save me (even though I always claim to be an atheist).

Of course, that all happened in less than a second but still, I think I was just surprised to find I had some belief hiding deep down inside.
And I also thought I had literally shit myself and was thinking about checking my underwear later.
