Fruits and veggies work pretty well for that, but the trick is you have to eat a little, a lot. What I mean, is that you should eat small servings, roughly as thick as your fingers, as wide as your palm, but you need to eat these every few hours. It's a bit counter-intuitive, but it never lets the metabolism shut down until you go to bed.

That will certainly help, but it works best paired with some sort of cardio, as well as portion control on your meals. All the snacking and high metabolism won't help at all if every real meal is 5000 calories. Assuming the intent is to lose weight, which is the only reason I can come up with to desire a high metabolism, then whatever you normally eat for meals now, cut it in half, eat the small portions of fruits or veggies a few times a day, and go for some brisk walks, that's really the best bet.

I ask , what would be a good , healthy diet that will help me speed my metabolism
When you say speed your metabolism what do you mean? Why do you want a faster metabolism?
I ask because I find the term a bit silly to use if loosing weight is your goal.

You can loose weight by having a lower intake of calories per day than you need:

Energy used per day > Energy consumed per day = Weight loss.

It's honestly very simple.

You might consider vegitarian or veganism.
Yep. I'd stress the Veganism portion if you're looking for a healthy weight loss; there are a lot of Vegetarian foods out there that don't come close to being low fat... doughnuts, cupcakes, cookies, etc.

Veganism pretty much makes you read labels and abandon more than half the comfort/junk food you've gotten familiar with. On the other hand, it also expands your horizons when it comes to new and different food!

don't forget exercise, eating right is important, but to really shed the pounds you need a good cardiovascular activity. I suggest running or swimming.

Then I would personally just evaluate what I eat today, and figure out what parts of that diet has to many carbs.
