2001: a space odyssey, anyone?
This. A hundred times, this.

Especially the 5-10 minute bit at the end where it's literally nothing but swirling colors and flashes of a guy making weird faces.

The only trippy movies I can think of are The Wall. I guess Spirited Away, but that's more weird than trippy. I don't know.

I would have to say...The Wall. That was a good album and movie. Also The Wizard of Oz with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon playing. That was a pretty cool, trippy experience!

Hard Rock Zombies.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089254/

Yes, there is a movie with that title. Yes, it involves EXACTLY what the title says.

The plot goes as follows:

A glam rock band goes to a small town to do a gig...only to be killed by a family of mutants, psychopaths, and ninja nazi midgets lead by Adolf Hitler (who was hiding in the U.S. through the use of Nazi magic). Fortunately the band recorded a song with words from a necromancy ceremony and are resurrected as undead rockers who kill the Nazis.

But then the nazis return as SUPER NAZI ZOMBIES and.....well, just watch the movie.

Not so much 'trippy', just fucking confusing...

The Cube 2: Hypercube.

The whole movie keeps asking questions.

About 2 of them get answered near the end.

Then the end gets you all excited to find out.

The only chick who survives gives a general-looking person her necklace, then gets shot in the head, and everyone walks away, completely wordlessly.

Well Miyazaki tends to make some... interesting stuff.

Also, if you are into it, Harold & Kumar 1 and 2.

It takes a certain kind of... lets say liberal form of humor and can be considered trippy in a stoner kind of way.
