A "Good Troll"

OK so clearly this is an oxymoron, but when you guys/girls(I don't know why but that seems to piss people off when I just say guys) see a troll, completely failing at what they are doing what thoughts go through your heads? I mean I have dealt with a few trolls and I noticed that near all of them hang around children areas like a middle school bully. So what do you guys clarify as "A good troll"?

Someone like, say, Richard Groovy Pants from a while ago, the guy who won't actually get into fights himself (in fact, he may appear to play the peace-keeper). Instead, he subtly eggs other people on to fight. Think the guy who makes the "Superman is better than Batman" thread, with about 100X more subtlety.

I'm far from being allowed to be exempt from the term "Troll".

A good troll, to me, is someone who understands how to play the crowd, like a good heckler. A good troll would know how to skirt the boundaries of decency in order to provoke responses that take said troll seriously.

Unfortunately, it's not something you often get to see.

Exactly! We've had some trolls like that in our time, but it's always so hard to describe after-the-fact.

Yes, it was quite fun. He got very pissed and told me he knew where I lived. Yet he has still not come for that tea party I invited him too. I mean I've heard of fashionably late, but this is ridiculous!

Alright I gotta give 2 examples.

1. Troll on Gamefaqs(there's a change of pace, m i rite?), calls himself Providence or something along those lines. Dude claims that he owns the world, and its not even something that you would see little kids doing. Guy swears on his life he owns the world. Oh and he has a bunch of lil minion twats following him.
2. Guy on YouTube, goes by DerekBosewell... on second thought, heres a link to some of his trolling. http://www.youtube.com/comment_servlet?all_comments&v=YxnMRJpxn94

There is nothing quite like trolling the troll.

I love it when people attempt to out-troll me. It turns into a rather friendly competition and a cross-fire of blatant lies and misinformation.

It is, at its best, when you can convince others.

Unfortunately, there are so many fail-trolls out there, it makes me sad to say that I may, often, be rallied under the same category.
