A little help over here?

So recently I decided to start trying out some custom maps for Minecraft, and it seems no matter what instructions I follow or things I do I just can't seem to install and play the buggers.

I suppose the low-down on my situation is:

*I have no problems downloading and extracting the maps (and I follow the readmes down to a t

*I have access to my .minecraft folder

So yeah, any help would be greatly appreciated!

go into the saves folder and put the maps in them the whole folder then restart minecraft. after that send me 5 dollars

See, here's where I run into a problem.

Let's say I download the pants map. The pants map download .zip comes with a read me and a folder saying "The pants map". Do I just drag that pants map folder over into my saves folder and then everything's rosy?

I don't play Minecraft but, I would think that transferring the entire folder that holds the "The pants map" file in it into the Minecraft saves folder wouldn't work.

I would have thought that you would have to get the "The pants map" file and just put that into the saves folder. Not the whole folder that the "The pants map" comes in when you download it.

Aye, that is what I meant. And I do only transfer the file that would hypthetically say "the pants map" yet to no avail.
