ok so i was in a guild and was kicked for a stupid reason(said i saw this guys GF in her bathing suit 4 years ago on her myspace page) well after that happened i was nice to the guy and wanted to try and talk to him to get back in. Well that all changed today, he kicked a friend of mine from guild because he didnt agree on a loot system that was being discussed. He then went on to post in the guild message that QQ on loot and you get kicked, now while i agree if you QQ about loot you should be kicked my friend didnt. Now im forced with a choice should I try to settle this insident and keep the guild together or break it apart and form a new guild with the others?

(oh and the one guy is the GMs boyfriend)

Move on. Go form your own guild. No need to get your undies in a twist over this, just try to avoid drama. It cuts into play time.

After 6 years of raiding and 3 as a guild officer there is something that you need to understand about guild management: there will always be some portion of the roster that is a revolving door. Nine times out of ten, it's better to move on than to try to make people that simply don't get along to work together. If the leaders of the guild you are in did not account for that, then that is their problem, not yours.

---First rule of MMO gaming: ---

In-game is in-game and real life is real life, and never the 'twain shall meet.

You don't talk about real life (especially other people's real personal lives) in game. In the event that real life matters of a personal nature are discussed, refer to rule #2.

---Second rule of MMO gaming: ---

On the occasion that real life is discussed, use common sense.

For example, you and a guild-mate are chatting when he reveals that his girlfriend broke up with him.

Acceptable response: Oh man. That sucks. I'm sorry to hear that dude. Don't worry, it'll get better. You'll find someone else.

Unacceptable response: Oh dude! I saw that chick in a bikini once! She's wicked hot! I bet she shags like a monkey!

Applying these two simple rules can make your MMO gaming experience much more fun and enjoyable. And it also creates an environment in which every online guild's arch-nemisis, Drama, is conspicuously absent.

Give them the option.

No one is twisting their arm to come with, and if any of them are in further disagreement of the current guild management then it isn't your problem and further reinforces your choice to start new.

No need to me a dick about it though, that's the big thing.
Something along the lines of...
"Look guys/girls/peoples, I just don't see the point of trying to regain a position in the guild as I am unable to see myself as a part of the community anymore. I am going to [insert plans/guild/etc here], you are more than welcome to come with if you want to. Either way, good luck with any future endeavors."
...Or something like that? (Not a raider, so I am probably not the best person to give guild relations advice, but there is my 2 copper. =3)
