it is not valve's fault, but microsoft's
valve wants to release stuff for free, MS wants to charge for every update individually.

This won't work. Ever. My theory is that [sub]VALV[/sub]e will release HL2 Ep.3 and the TF2 360 updates when Source 2.0 (or whatever) comes out.
This is a bloody stupid idea. Please stop being such adumbassN00B and buy the PC version.
EDIT: Sorry if I came off as a bit of a tosser, but, you don't need a incredibly high-end PC to run most [sub]VALV[/sub]e games. Those new Toshiba Satellite lappys run games beautifully and come with about 300[sub]GB[/sub] of memory.
It's true, they don't care about you, they care about your money - if you believe otherwise you're a fool. Chances are that they -could- release the patches as 'DLC' on the Xbox Live Marketplace, but they don't believe that it would make enough money to warrant the time spent porting the data over.funksobeefy said:valve doesnt care about the fans
I see what you mean. It's just kinda hard for me, because I have nothing against console players, but they're responding to negativities and including me, so, it's like I'm just being dragged into it for no reason. But yeah, I can see where you're coming from.Kalezian said:Nivag said:It sucks that you're not getting what was promised but your methodology is somewhat insulting to us PC players.
considering how all the PC fanboys cried out that console players were nothing but casual, you have very little room to say this is insulting to you.
OT: Im pretty sure some if not all 360 players already have the PC version, if not for the updates, the community maps [seriously, have you seen the catalog?].
also, this is not /i/, nor are we your personal army.
EDIT: even though I really, REALLY hate TF2 in all forms, seriously just get the PC version, there is tons more room for modifications like Hide-n-seek and dodgeball unlike the console version. just like L4D, the PC version is the one that will keep you playing after weeks 5-30+
