hmmm I was born with a brain in my skull, versus alot of people who are intentionaly/unintentionaly ignorant.
I agree, though that's pretty harsh, so my response is this:

<Non offensive proclamation of atheism born out of fear of getting suspended for saying something offensive in a slightly religious tilted thread that probably shouldn't exist in the first place>

Feel free to quote me on that placeholder for a profound statement :)
I didnt mean that to be a shot at religious beliefs, more like an observation on all the dumb preppy bitches and brain dead stoners I'm forced to deal with on a regualr basis

ZOMG! So I am not the only one in life with such a thing?
We are few, but we control the idiot masses.

And start conspiracy theories to keep them off our tracks.
The REPTOIDS are among us! You are one of them!!!!! The Escapist has been invaded!
Yes, and once the grays arrive we shall take our true form and enslave you pathetic humans.
Wow, runaway back and forth, well I better do my part:

We must consume the brains of others under the guise of being risen dead, with enough brain matter under our hard craniums, we shall rule the world!

My brother had surgery when he was an infant. The nurses messed up his medication, and he became brain damaged as a result. They said he wouldn't live past 10, and that he would be a vegetable. He's 25, and despite being confined to a wheelchair, is very active. Not only that, but during the aforementioned surgery, he didn't breathe for 19 minutes. I kid you not.

My niece, on the other hand, was insane. She was born with only one part of her brain. The part that controlled reflexes. But she did more than reflexes! Unfortunately, she didn't make it to her first birthday. But, it's pretty amazing how long she lasted with such a huge handicap.

I was bitten in the leg by a shark. There isn't a scar, because the bite didn't make full contact, but I'm lucky that my boat was right next to me.
But wouldn't you want a scar? That would be some epic bragging rights

Jeez, why does everyone keep telling the OP that what happened was not a miracle? I can't see any reason to do that other than to be a jerk.
This.
And now that I think about it...

Anyways, other than the miracle or being born I don't think I've ever experienced a miracle.
This, too. I know of miracles, I believe that they are true, but I have not experienced one myself.
However, this doesn't mean that I haven't led a very unusual life.
Strange that they can be mutually exclusive, no?

To me it was a miracle, I am the only judge of what a miracle is in my own life, and you are the judge of what a miracle is in your life.

I beleive what happened to me that day was a miracle, I could have died but I didnt, If the same thing happened to you, you would understand. I saw this man go out of his way to help me, oh and sorry about that comment on homosexuality, I beleive evryone has a right to exist.

That is a miracle, because a miracle is anything amazing that happens in your life, and we say whats amazing in our life

I'm just posting on this thread because of this. It's "circumstances".
I agree, English is pretty random. But if you know a bit of Latin and something of other European languages, a lot of it is quite easy, because English is the most cobbled-together language I know of.

As for this thread, I don't believe in miracles in the religious sense. Just in the sense of "extremely unlikely event".

It's a miracle (in today's housing market) that I got the house that I have now.
