A new gaming laptop

I am searching for a laptop that could be used for gaming. I have 2000 dollars that I could put towards it. What could you recommend?

Alienware laptops are good, but expensive and you have to deal with Dell as well.

If I remember correctly the Asus G series laptops are the next best thing, and Asus is a great brand.

Alienware do really good laptops (stay the hell away from their desktops, though).

Asus are good, as are MSI.
