i dont know really lets put it this way i would want a wii if only for brawl parties. but i would never pay 200 dollars just for that thing because i wouldnt ever get anything else on it. and i would want a ps3 simply because i used to love my ps2 so much and then got swept off my feet by the 360 is anything you could say im curious? not enough to buy but if i had any friends with one i would like to try it and see how it is(i currently own a 360 but do almost all of my gameing on the computer) the main thing that concerns me is that ill just do the same thing with it that i do with my 360 and thats let it rot and wait for a new fighting game to come out.
It is not going to be a new console. It just going to be the PS3 Slim. What is wrong with that? It is the same hardware in a smaller case. This is really directed at people who don't have a PS3 to get them to want one. I am not re-buying a PS3 personally as my PS3 works just fine. Is this all getting through or am I making too much sense?
I think the OP means the rumors about a PS3 Slim not a PS4 ... Well not yet I suppose since Sony has at least redesigned each of it's gaming systems at least once.Curtmiester said:

Hell, I have my launch PSP that is still running strong. I don't need to get the PSPGo!. Buying new versions of a console or handheld seems redundant to me. If my PS3 breaks somehow(knock on wood) I guess I will buy one. But I really doubt it will.
Well, it is smaller which people always like, especially in Japan. That will make a difference for a lot of people I bet. It is supposed to have a 120 GB HD which is pretty awesome. Couple that with dropping the price and it is a good way to boost sales for Sony.O277 said:
I would not buy another PS3. I love the one I have right now (BC, yay!). The only thing I would change about it would probably be get a bigger harddrive for it (or a 32gb SD card to put all my damn videos on).
There are still persistent rumors that BC is coming via a firmware update. Ars Technica had an article on it not too long ago. Couple that with the rumors that PS2 games might be sold via the PSN and it gets pretty juicy. I say it happens in 2010.O277 said:
