A question about greed

So my great grandmother who i live with and take care of recently won a crapload of cash at a casino she went to. I wont say how much but she asked me if theres anything that i'd like to buy with some of the money she won, and immediatlly a list of things i wanted came into mind. But on the other hand, i feel bad because it feels greedy to do so, even though it was offered. What do you guys think?

I do agree that it would sound opportunistic, but that doesn't mean you can't ask for a very small something every few months.

In my opinion it's alright to accept an offer to get you something. Just so long as you aren't trying to take advantage of it.

She's offering it to you. Go out and do something good with the money like donate a good portion or find someone needy to help out.

Put it away for a college fund or something, or save up to buy something like a car or something you will actually use long term. Don't just waste it on games and candy and hula hoops.

That way you won't have to feel so guilty as you know her money is doing more than just give you some short term joy.
