The topic currently bouncing around asking people who their favorite DBZ character is prompted me to respond with Kid Buu, the nearly indestructible ball of evil and unimaginable strength who fights with the terrifying power of A.D.D. In my response I posted an edited together series of clips from the Kid Buu fight. This made me want to watch the full fight again (which I'm doing now) and that got me thinking.

Fat Buu and Super Buu both actually register pain. They both have fast recovery, but hit them hard enough and you can double them over for a couple seconds. Kid Buu, on the other hand, doesn't appear to register pain at all. His recovery is nearly instantaneous no matter how hard you wail on him (as seen by the fact that SSJ 3 Goku goes all out on him and, for all intents and purposes, doesn't make a scratch...Kid Buu is just as powerful and energetic at the end of the fight as he is at the beginning).

And there-in lies my question, do you think Kid Buu actually feels the blows that are landing on him? Or does his bubble-gum taffy body just completely absorb all impact, making any actual physical blow useless?

It's already clear that he's the strongest being in the DB universe, given the fact that Goku woulda lost had they not cheated at life and used the Dragon Balls to give him an insta-full-life-heal. :p

I think he just doesn't feel it. All the Buus had essentially indestructible bodies, but limited supplies of energy to fuel them. Kid Buu was just limitless, the only way to stop him was to fully destroy his body.
