I don't think I ever went through it.
I just sort of woke up one day and there was HAIR EVERYWHERE.
It was a visceral and terrifying experience.

My voice never even officially broke. It just became slightly deeper over a long time.

It made me a little more cynical. I rush to assure you that I never got emo, but I started looking at my fellow "brave new generation" types and felt a sinking fear and dread.

For the most part, I'm happy to say that they turned out okay. A little naive maybe, but decent folk.

Halfway about 13-14. I got more pissy at my parents.

Though it does seem like they're annoying me more than they used to.
That could just be living with them. My father drives me fucking insane today. Far more than he did when I was 18 (a decade ago).

Let me put it this way: Bad week, including my grandfather being put into a nursing home. Classmate pushed me a little too far with his intimidation. I snapped and chased him around the gym. Gym teacher tried to stop me. I punched out gym teacher and continued the chase.

The thing is, I remember none of this, I was so blind with rage. I only know of it from what I've been told.

So, yeah... When I was a teenager, I had a hair trigger.
If its any consolation, I used to have fugue states when I was a kid. This included stabbing a kid with a pencil on the bus in second grade. (He'd been poking me in the back of the head with the eraser, so I just grabbed it and shoved backwards. (I'm told.)) I did grow out of it. I don't think I had an incident after I turned 14 or so.

Puberty made me start masturbating, made me make decisions with my dick, and made me angsty.

Pretty much the normal stuff.

I gained my Superpower. Unfortunately it is turning Gold into Lead. So I sort of suck in that regard.

I also lost my lovely singing voice to be replaced by an annoying and hard to hear voice.

I got annoyingly emotonal for a short time.

you have to show those Hormones early on who's the *****, you or them.

bloody naturally occuring neurochemicals, moving in and acting like they own the place.

Oh God you just brought back some of my darker memories my friend. In middle school, I developed what the French would call "ants in my hands." Seriously, it got to the point where I wasn't allowed to sit near any of the girls in any of my classes.

It's funny that hitting 21 I'm only just realising how screwed up my sleep patterns were and how tired I was. Now I can actually go to sleep at 9:30pm if I have a really early start or I am tired. Also if I have only 6hours sleep I'm tired but it doesn't wreck me the way it did in highschool. I can work a longer day than a schoolday without falling asleep.

Not really a comment on emotions but the only thing I can really think of I've noticed. A friend of mine summed up highschool and being a teenager as "I'd kill myself if I wasn't so tired". So maybe a macabre exaggeration but it does accurately reflect the emotional turmoil and lack of sleep so common during this period.

At 13 I went through some major depression. At 14 I realized depression was a waste of time and stopped being depressed. For the rest of my teenage years I subdued my hormonal impulses, but in some cases, usually involving girls, I could only just ignore them.

I've... no, I've gotten even more emotonally unstable since I left puberty, I think.

But it's not apparent because I drunk steadily throughout the experience.

I spent the majority of my puberty siting in class and imagining the things I would do if I could stop time for everyone except for me.
