Far as I know theres no DRM on the discs. & if WoW is like every other MMO you shouldnt have a problem since you log into a central server anyway to play. For MMOs the disc is usually just to install the game not play it so I dont see you having any problem installing on as many machines as you want

WoW doesn't have this kind of protection like every other game does. It runs disc free and the serial keys that are included in every package are for when you register your account. You're otherwise free to install the game anywhere and run it without having to put a disc in.

no as long as you're the owner, you can copy your version of WoW onto every computer in your house, as long as you are the only one playing it. your serial number follows your account around not the computer.

you could go to a friend's place and log into your account on their computer and still have your 60 days

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can just download the client, and you don't even need the disks to install it on your desktop.

Naw, since you have to constantly pay for the account to play, you can install the client from the disks as many times as you want. You can only use the code you get to set up one account, but you can access that account from any PC with WoW on it.

One important thing about logging in from other computers though - Macros and UI setups don't follow you, they stay on each you login on.

Wait wait wait... you say you're going to play WoW again, so why did you go and buy all 3 games again? One would assume you already have atleast the original.

You can put it on both, you can even download the game from blizzard themselves using their free trial program. Last time I checked you could, anyway.

There is no DRM what so ever, you can actuly download the game directly from thier site and not have to pay a thing.

Where they get you though is you need a CD key to activate your account.
Other than that the CD's are useless.

I did have an old account but i lost the disks when the laptop shut down.. (f****** vista)
Discs really aren't required for install anymore, as long as you have an old account and can remember its password, you can download the game files for the original game or any of its expansions. It does take somewhat of a long time, however, but you can do it. So if you have had an account in the past, be it original WoW or BC, I'd suggest you download the files that you can online, and return the games that you do not need if you can. The program to do this is available under your account management on https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/. There's a button under Free Services called Download Game Client.

You will however, need the discs for the CD keys for whatever expansions you did not play. But as several have said before, the discs are just for installs and CD keys... they are not required to play, and there is no sort of DRM. So you can install to your heart's content.
