Ok, background for the laypersons: According to quantum theory, charge, energy and mass (I think) is quantised, i.e. no matter what amount of the above you have, it is a multiple of a given unit (e.g. 1.6x10^-19 for charge, I believe the same for energy (via eV), and by extension via E=mc^2, mass).
My question(s) is/are, does this quantisation effect (as known) also extend to space and/or time? If so, have we found the quanta for these variables? Again, if so, what are they?
P.S. I'm an electronic engineering student/live events technician. If my physics knowledge is lacking/majorly simplified, please just attribute it to me being an engineer (i.e. someone who uses what the physicists come up with to do something IRL).
