A Question Regarding Starcraft 2

I recently purchased the game, and was filled with nothing but sheer ecstasy. So much, in fact that I did not read the small print, very small print, that said it requires the internet to play. The only way I can get on the internet is by taking my neighbors (which is fairly unreliable) or trekking to a hot spot, not exactly perfect if you need the internet to play it.

Question is, after installation, do you need to internet every time to play, or just to register with battle.net?

And do not forget to construct addition pylons.

there is an offline mode, where you can play the campaign and skirmish

but obviously not battlenet multiplayer =P

edit: once you register all your stuff, on the login screen just log in as "guest"
