So, ignoring all the scientific mumbo jumbo involved, I thought up this question when talking with one of my friends who was a vegetarian.
What if we found an intelligent, sentient plant life that has created special organs from plant tissue and the like to adapt and survive. For the sake of the question, we'll assume that said plant life is very nutritious for the human body, and that while it is sentient/intelligent enough to learn as much as a human can, its culture and such is underdeveloped at the point of time in which we discovered it. Also for the sake of the arguement, we'll make the assumption that its from Earth.
How would you react, how do you think vegetarians would react, or people as a whole?
