This may seem odd, considering it's a gaming website, but I figure, eh why the hell not?
Over the past few days I've been cleaning out my cellar, and I'm quite proud of the work I've done.
One thing though, the chair and couch down there smell kinda iffy. I may consider relocating some things there and claiming it as a hang out, but I'd like to find a way to get the couch cleaned, anyone know of any fairly cheap and quick methods that work?

And for added discussion, anyone have a similar hang out or special area in their house to themselves, besides your own bedroom?

Febreze works fairly well. If you are worried about more than just the smell, throw some cheap sheets over them.

Only way to cheaply clean it would be fabreeze. Or just do that than put blankets over it. Only other way to really get it to a usable state is to bring in an upholstery cleaning guy. Which = money.

Febreze those fuckers.

As for a hang out, it has to be my allotment shed. Since my kids pretty much own our flat, any time I want some alone time I walk down across the estate and chill. A 19inch TV, a small fridge of beer + vodka and a year's supply of lion bars. What more could a man ask for?

I'd suggest rubbing it down with vinegar then using fabreeze. Vinegar neutralizes just about any other odor.

Er... Clean them?

I've never worried about anything such as this, but I have an incredibly weak sense of smell.

Spray the hell outta that couch, then throw a blanket over it. Then spray it again.

Keep a bottle down there just in case.

If you're still not sure, fart on it to give your own musk.
