I'm starting a webcomic, due to launch January 1st. It will be a superhero webcomic, based largely on tvtropes.org

Set to feature humor, drama, deconstruction, reconstruction, and plain old superhero mythos.

To be called punimplied. (And I already have the domain names, so don't think about stealing them.)

Check in on January 1st, the official launch date.

I'm happy to check out the work of other Escapists...but....could you tell us once you actually launch it? I don't think too many of us will be sitting on the edge of our seats for two and a half months foaming at the mouth with anticipation of a yet to be seen webcomic.

If you want my opinion, the constant references to tvtropes around the web are getting kind of annoying. While a lot of their content is interesting and funny, the references are sort of reaching "bad meme" status. A webcomic based around it, to me, would be the equivalent of a webcomic based around Encyclopedia Dramatica. "Get it? It's like that thing that you read on that website you like!"

That said, I don't know how honest it is to advertise your upcoming webcomic through the forums when most webcomics have to pay for that privilege.
