A quick PS3 Question

Hi, I don't own a PS3, but I'm getting an older one soon- one with backwards compatabiity. I was reading up and then I saw the word memory stick, and it frieghtened me. So, let's just make this a quick thing with one good reply answering the question, does the 60 gig ps3 have a place for my memory card to play my ps2 game data, or does it all mean nothing and I need to restart with the memory stick thing?

You won't be able to port the data from the PS1/PS2 memory cards to the PS3 unless you have the Memory Card adapter.
If I remember correctly it costs around ?10.

Without that you will have to start from the very beginning when playing your old games on the PS3.
