A Quick Question

I know, this is a religion thing, and they tend to be looked down upon, but this isn't your typical "Does God Exist" rant. My question is, for those that Believe in a God, yet still believe Science holds true to certain things, my question is this.

In a few hundred million years, when the Sun finally absorbs Earth during one of it's many expansions before going Supernova. If Humanity has finally fled Earth by this time and colonized elsewhere. What happens to Relgion?

Does God still live in the skies? Does Satan/Lucifer still live under the earths crust? All these sacred stories passed through in the Bible, do they lose meaning as the Earth is now lost? Do you think that maybe any such Gods would have moved, or always been living in the Dark Space of the Universe keeping an eye on us from afar?

tl;dr What happens to Religion when the Sun goes Supernova?

Well, I would say that they would exist no matter what planet you live at. The thing about god living in the sky and satan under the earth, i see that as pretty much a child story

Hmmm...Satan doesnt live under the Earth crust...nor does God live in the sky.

Heaven/Hell is just a metaphor for what may happen to our souls. And their looks are left to the person. One may imagine Heaven being filled with clouds and stuff, while other may think of heaven as a mountain of gold.

possibly it'll die, but some fanatic will say that the sun exploding will be a test of religious fortitude or something and then the fanatics will either A: continue with religion in space or B: stay on earth because of the rapture.

although your idea probably won't go into existence because we, human beings, are stupid and will probably blow ourselves up

That's a pretty longquestion, it's also several questions.
I think a lot of the Bible is metaphorical, but has been interpreted as fact.
Though while I do believe in some sort of greater power I don't believe in the convetional god, so feel free to disregard my oppinion.

1. Your interpreting the bible to literally. God does not actually exist as an entity sitting in the sky and hell is not a fiery hole in the middle of the Earth, they are places that do not exist physically.

2. Humans won't be around when that happens, something will kill us all before then.
