A quick Steam item question.

Hello mates its been quite a while since I've lurked the forums. I was wondering if you could help me with a question I have about unlocking TF2 items from steam purchases. I bought the Total War master collection last night cause my friend wanted and I was hoping that I would get the TF2 items from it since I purchased it.

Does anyone here know if I get them or if the person that recieves it will?

Hm I would try looking up online for what games you can get TF2 items from, I know poker night at the inventory has some you can get for playing the game. but as for that I have no idea.

Some game items are just bought or crafted in the game.

From first hand experience as the receiver of a gift on steam, the person that receives the game should get the items. So by buy him the game you are also getting him the items.

Yeah, he'll get the items as well as the game. Just ask him for the items when he gets them and unless he's a dick, he can just trade 'em with you.
