I would like to build my own gaming rig for the upcoming Deus Ex and Skyrim. I would like a quiet PC because it will be in my living room and serve as my main media PC. Any advice?

Swap out the fans for some low power Gentle Typhoons. Expensive, but very effective and quiet.

Also go for a good HSF like the NH D14. Hyper 212+ if the NH D14 is too expensive.

You can usually get most component's in heatsink form rather than fans. You might need one or two case fans to get some airflow going, but if the graphics card, CPU and RAM all have a heatsink on them then some ultra quiet fans in the case and you won't even know it's on.

EDIT: As if by magic (but actually google) http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/home

I really hate it when people always ask for computers that will play games that haven't even been released yet. How the hell should we know the requirements for games that nobody's even played yet?
