We have a Realistic Batman. A Realistic Iron Man. A Realistic Watchmen (Maybe...) How do we make Superman Realistic ?

It's fine to break a few rules like introduce some new law of physics but it has to make sense.

First off I think his heat vision should not be red lasers, It makes more sense if the radiation coming out of his eyes is not within out spectrum of eye sight so it should be see through.

His indestructibility can easily be made sense of. He's alien after all.

It's just his motivation to do only good and the ability to fly that should be taken seriously.

To be honest, I feel that how he was portrayed in the first Christopher Reeve film was pretty much spot on. If they carry on with that characterisation and give him some decent villains to fight, or a least a better version of Lex Luthor, I'll be immensely happy.

But yeah, I agree with your point about the heat vision.

Realistic superman is a contradiction in terms. Like a square circle, or a not-funny Dara o Briain.

Seconded. It's true, I did believe a man could fly.

*Points at recent DC* They're already doing it to ALL characters. At the same time, Marvel is going to hell in a hand basket
