The choices in the questionnaire seem skewed toward "hardcore" games. You left turn-based RPGs and puzzle games off of your "favorite genre" question, as well as collecting things from the "what you like in a game." I'm going to assume you like sandbox style games, which is cool, but the survey is really biased and the questions only really let choose from elements of those games.

But that's kind of my point. A computer is not necessarily a console, consoles are a subgroup of computers. To call all computers consoles is to deliberately remove relevant information and to subtly redefine a term.
Also, by your definition the PS3 would be a home media center-thing and not a console - as per Sony's supposed intended purpose with the hardware.

Done. Thanks for killing some time while I grade finals. Also, this game sounds like Assasin's Creed, if you're going for a semblance of historical accuracy, or Oblivion if you're not (as mentioned above). Love to see your effort, though.
Done, sounds like a pretty good idea. Will you be actually making it? One of the advantages of a medieval world is that your partners have less chance of getting run over by a car when you need to keep them alive during a mission.
The assignment brief states we have to come up for an idea for a sandbox style game. Mainly because further in the brief we have to look at legal and ethical issues that come with some games and one of the tutors thought that GTA was the ideal game to look for all that crap. also the game sounds pretty good if your in for advice as well then I'd say polish the crap out of the game, details that don't take the place of a main good thing are what makes sandbox games great
