Two examples there, there's a couple dozen in total I think.
I was just thinking that presumably most users of this forum probably wouldn't know about it.
But this started me thinking. I would consider it very funny but quite a British style of comedy. I wondered if especially non-Brits agree with that. I guess I often hear about British comedy being very dry etc., and wondered if that's a turn off to people, in these rants for example, or if it's just not funny to you, or if you really like it as a style.
I don't mean this in any way to be a 'what's a funnier style' debate, that's subjective and just asking for trouble really. I'm just curious about an outsider's view and perspective on any stylistic difference.
