In Nazi zombies a popular mini-game in the game Call of duty. Nazi zombies exists in the two call of duty games: World at war and Black opps.
There are four characters in the Nazi Zombie maps: Shi No Numa, Der Riese, and Kino Der Toten. These characters are Tank Dempsey, the tough bad mouthed American marine, Nikolai Belinski, the alcoholic Soviet, Dr. Richtofen, the insane German doctor and Takeo Masaki, the honourable Japanese soldier. Now I'm not racist in any way but Takeo has to be the most boring character in the nazi zombie game in my opinion. The other characters are extreemly funny with lines that will keep you laughing through this hard mini-game that many consider the best part of Call of Duty. E.g. - Tank Dempsey: K to the I to the A Zom-*****!, Nikolai Belinski: What's that? No Ammo! Maybe I should just drink instead... Piss on someone and Dr. Richtofen: What did they do too the poor little puppies?

Now these characters are all so funny and you learn to like them the more into the game you become but there's a stick in the mud... Takeo. He's not funny, he's boring and he doesn't relate to the other characters as in their quotes they may refer to eachother but hardly ever Takeo. Really I think he needs to be replaced and I want to ask you my fellow escapists who should replace him and why, or if you like him why you do and why you think he should stay in the game.

I would enjoy seeing a wise talking Englishman that smokes a pipe to be in the game and really I don't understand why there isn't an english person in the game since we are so full of personality and humor :D Although that may just be because of personal reference.

BTW: I am not racist or anything, I just do not like Takeo for his lack of personality and humor.

He's the straight man, the serious one that the other characters can play off of and make the jokes funnier. Plus, they are all giant stereotypes anyway, no one said that they were all FUNNY ones. An honorable samurai warrior fits in just as much as the mad doctor's ravings, the depressed drunk's musings, or the angry badass's cursing.

Plus, what else would they do for a Japanese character? They couldn't really remove them, as they sort of fill out the East/West Axis and Allies dichotomy they tried to establish. And being super-serious and reserved is kind of the Japanese hat.

That said, Takeo does need to talk more. I always thought that when things got intense he should start to lose his reserve, getting angrier and more fanatic sounding, maybe shouting curses and the usual banzai!! stuff. Then after, he would calm down and maybe get embarrassed, or maybe even enjoy it and start playing along with Dempsey's chest beating.

If I had to make a new character...maybe a British guy, with the stereotypical "Once more into the breach gents!" personality, khaki shorts and floppy hat, Captain Price beard, the whole 9 yards. Or a Frenchman, who would have pretensions to culture, thinking himself better than the other members of the team. Maybe he'd get along with Richtofen for whatever reason.
