Well, i'm bored, so here is a riddle. Not sure if the current wording is very good, so if you think I should reword the riddle, tell me.
"7 rise, 7 fall,
3 more times,
and 12 will fall"
Here is a hint, the answer is one word.

One word...
Is that it?
Is it a month?
No a year, maybe I'm not too sure, I'm not very smart, normally fail at these kinds of things.

Is this going to one of those times where someone says here is a riddle and never answers it? If that's the case it doesn't have an answer.

No it is not, if enough people guess and can't get it I will tell.

Is it Agonalia then? It falls on the 11 of December this year and that dose fit this riddle. 7 rises 7 falls refers to a week I think 3 more times ( 3 weeks) and 12 will fall on January 1st 12 falls to 1. So it could be referring to the date December the 11th and there is only one one word Holiday that falls on that day Agonalia. Although I doubt that this is the right answer because I didn't even know what Agonalia was tell today.

That is a good theory, though it is not the answer because you just now taught me this word.

I think the answer is "Gravity", mainly because if you count the numbers it adds to thirty, and you say rise and fall, so something rises/falls 30 times. Which is caused by gravity, am I right or wrong?

Is it a Farris wheel? If it had iterations of 7 feet and 4 people per carriage, then 3 iteration of 7 foot falls would make 12 people fall.

Wait that's in inches :p

Edit again: quotation mark confused for "foot"

You are wrong.

No it is not, though that is pretty clever I must admit.

I'm think it's got something to do with time.
7 days in a week
3(well closer to 4) weeks in a month
12 months in a year

Since this popped up again, I decided to google "riddle 7 rise 7 fall"

This thread is the third result. My super scientific research leads me to conclude either a) it's not a riddle and the OP was just pulling people's legs, or b) it's a riddle that the OP made up himself and didn't word it well enough.
