I think it's fair to say that Superheroes are pretty popular. You only have to look at the slated films that are to be released this year to see what I mean. Green Lantern, Thor, Captain America, Green Hornet etc. It's gonna be a big year for comic book nerds.
Now, needless to say, one of the best aspects of Superheroes are the enemies they face, collectively known as Rogue Galleries. These individuals serve as some of the more persistant thorns in our heroes sides, and often serve as a twisted reflection of the heroes methods, ideals and even appearance.
Batman has The Joker, the choas to his order. Captain America has The Red Skull, the tyranny to his freedom, and finally Thor has Loki, who serves as the Thunder God's Treachery to his Honour. The point is, it's often the villains and thier associates who we remember, which brings me to this thread...
...what do you guys think of this Gallery of Evil Do-ers? These guys are characters from a Superhero comic I'm working on called Legacies, and I'm really interested on your thoughts on them. Questions and Opinions are welcome. Also, I really worked hard on this, so please don't blow this off. I know that sounded incredibly whiney but it's true.

Once there was an ophaned Gorilla who was taken in by a group of scientist, who named the poor thing Noah. Teaching Noah how to sign and solve simple puzzles, Noah soon grew up to be a healthy, bight and handsome Silverback. It was at this point in his life, that Noah was finally revealed the purpose of his existance.
Prepped since the day he was taken in, Noah was finally subjected to a nootropic enhancement regime that used the newly developed smart drug called Cerebellamax. The drugs proved to be worked better than planned and Noah sound developed the ability to talk. Teaching the gorilla, it wasn't long till Noah started to think at the same level as his caretakers, often assisting them. Soon coming to mistrust mankind upon learning about their failure to maintain ecological and enviromental stability, Noah decided that a purge was in order.
Finding a way to South America, Noah created nature reserves as he planned to wipe out humanity. Noah is a genius and an expert in Biology and often uses Cerebellamax on the animals he takes care of to use as assistants and minions, despite being against animal testing. He knows he is a hypocrite and due to his intelligence, believes he is something outside of man and nature. He claims he want to restore the world to the Eden it once was...truth is, he just wants a world where he belongs.

A trans-dimensional "elf" who takes the form, and behaves like, a 1930's cartoon character. The entity known as Zip delights in causing as much mischief and lunacy as he possibly can, using his awesome power to twist and change reality as he sees fit. Luckily, the diminutive sprite loves to play games and will go back to the "place between dimensions" if a device called the Spatial Anomoly Rectifyer is used against him.
The catch is, you have to find it, and Zip is very good at hiding it. In fact no one even knows what it looks like, or if it even really works on him. To those who have somehow gained Zip's trust, he'll reveal his "true form", a sight that has been known to induce catatonia, fainting spells, giddyness and vomiting. Not surprising when you consider he's actually an eldritch abomination who operates on a completely alien moral compass. He's also the only one who seems to realize that he is, in fact, a character in a comicbook.

Dr. Johnathan Henry Kllham Ph.D, was once the foremost expert on robotics in the United States, his dwarfism hiding a superior intellect. Working for the US Army, the paranoid and nationalistic Killham developed his Warbots beleiving that they would give America an edge on the world front. Despite their success, the project was ultimately scrapped, driving the good Doctor to madness.
Embezzling the US Army, Killham develped various safehouses around the country where he devloped his own drone army, hoping to demonstrate the effectiveness of his robots first hand. In essence, John Henry Killham is a man who loves his country and doesn't trust those who run it. He beleives that if America and her interests are to be defended, than his Warbots are the only possible solution, and he is more than willing to play the Villain in order to prove it, even going as far as to don a 12ft suit of powered armour.

Born in South Africa, Corina Van Pelt was trained from a young age to hunt. Taught by her father, she quickly became one of the finest trackers of the Serengeti, where she claims to have been blessed by a Witch Doctor. Growing into a beautiful, healthy woman, she soon came to the attention of american television audiances, hosting a survival/hunting show.
It wasn't long before show was cancelled though (protest groups and all). Though able to still maintain her celebrity status with books and a career as a glamour model, Corina soon grew bored. It wasn't till she heard rumours of a supernatural vigilante, that she decided to challenge herself, vowing to catch "the creature". Time and time again, Corina found herself unable to apprehend him, and what started as a challenge turned into an obsession.
An olmpic level gymnast and athelete, Corina is also one of the most accomplished hunters in the world. Her greatest asset however, is her sexuality and she uses it freely in order to gain any advantage she can gain.

Most people would describe Beatrice Willard as having an "extreme personality". Domineering, Passionate and staunch in her beleifs, it usually takes some time to get to know her. One of those beliefs being conservation of the enviroment and an appreciation of nature.
As a college student, Bea was able to combine her two passions studying Entymology, where she studied communication between insect and developed various pheremones in order to study their effects. It was during this time that she learned that part of the local forest was to be cut down, and when her protesting brought her nothing, she took more "proactive" measure.
"Convincing" her Engineering major boyfriend to create a suit and glider, Beatrice became the Queen Bee, able to control insects through the use of coplex pheremones and "Bug Bombs" as she streaked cross the skies.

Jeffrey Hails never really had vision. To be honest, the fact that he became a Meteorlogist was something of a miracle. Though bright, he just didn't have any ideas as to how to use his smarts. Selected for a special developement project, Jeff found himself working on the world's first Weather Manipulation Device. It was here he met a woman named Jill, and though he was attracted, she was in love with the team's leader a rich guy named Gerry. Thinking that money was all that was in his way, Jeff found himself struck by a miraculous, if misguided, idea. Using the WMD, Jeffrey started to rob banks. Though able to get the money and make a run, Jeff was inevitably caught and has since been using the device to rob banks, all in the hopes that he'll get girls.
Socially akward and with an outdated opinion of women and how to interact with them, Jeff isn't so much feared as he is considered an annoyance. Not even other supervillains take him seriously, despite the fact that he could potentially be the most devastating villain of them all...if he just though ahead.

No one knows where he came from. Some say he's an ancient sea god, angered by whaling activities. Others think he was a creature born from the heart of a nuclear explosion. Whatever the case, when this monster from the deep appears destruction is bound to follow.
Standing at over 600ft tall, armed with a nuclear breath, capable of withstaning blows from tanks and missiles and completely mindless, Atomo can be easily described as the wrath of the ocean given form.

He is eons of years old. A being who is able to count his life in Big Bangs and Crunches. A true survivor, the supercomputer Ixthulith thinks that there is one thing left for him to do. Rule all of creation till he finally, and truly, dies. Unimaginable intelligent and lacking in any form of morality, Ixthulith is cold and unfeeling. He was able to make his way to our time when he hitched a ride from the future. He is immensly powerful and is a bing who demands total submission to him.
Back in the Golden Age, Professor Thomas Terror was one of the greatest supervillains on Earth, able to make scientific acheivements that seemed to contradict stated scientific fact. Not entirely evil, Terror simply enjoyed the fun of it all, using the schemes of global conquest in order to find a purpose in his life after the death of his wife, Teresa. Terror was even assisted by his daughter Tiffany, then a a college student, in a career that involved convulted plans and Hypnosis Rays.
It wasn't till the retirement of his "Archnemesis" The Sentinel, that Terror decided to quit. Life rolled on: Tiffany graduated, became a mother and then later a grandmother. Terror kept mostly to himself though...kinda hard to socialize when you turned yourself in a Brain-In-A-Jar.
Then, something amazing happened. The Sentinel came back! More than eager to continue his "battle of wits" with his old foe, Terror brought Tiffany and her grandchildren Timmy and Terry into his schemes, the boys enjoying their summer break with their grandma at the time. Life has changed for Ol' Tom Terror though. Now it seems whenever you explain your plan, people just tell you to shoot. Even his great grandchildren seem to heckle him, explaining the flaws in his plans.

It's hard to tell where Byron's story began? Truth is he likes it that way. He may have been a member of the SAS or worked for MI-6, though nobody will ever be sure. Byron really only has one goal in life, and that's to make money and he doesn't particularly care how he goes about it. Operating as a freelance mercenary-for-hire, Byron is the kind of guy who likes to take calculated risks often approaching his jobs from an entirely methodical point of view. He doesn't like to be caught unaware or off-guard. It would be unfair to call Byron a villain, even if he works for them. At the end of the day, he just wants the money, so if he can avoid seriously hurting people he will take that option. Kids seem to like him funnily enough.
A space-faring race of Aliens. Having long since exhausted the resources of their native planet, The Mots now operate from a Ringworld, using armada fleets in order to explore space for planets capable of supporting life in the hopes of creating ports. They learn all they can of a planet's major species with the use of a specialized Invader Caste, spies who are able to change their appearance with the use of "image inducer devices".
Perhaps the most dangerous aspect of the Mot species is the fact that they are a Hive Mind. Each and every member of the species essentially sharing their thoughts with one another, limiting thier own ability to think. Appearance wise, the Mots closely resemble humans, save for their large craniums, six fingers and toes and their pointed ears. Their most outwardly otherworldly feature, is a throat sac and their unnatural blue skin.
Right now, they have set their sights on Earth.

Born in India, Rabu Singh showed great potential even from an early age. Travelling the entireity of Asia, Rabu lived and learned from some of the greatest holy men in the world. It wasn't till he unlocked the power to unleash the power of the Third Eye Chakra, the young Holy Man learned how to create illusions so realistic, that distinguishing between fantasy and reality was difficult.
It was thought that this gift would make the man and humble, but his teachers were wrong. Tired of the life of a Holy Man, Rabu moved to the states and became Rabu Ram, a highly paid and widely acclaimed television psychic and magician. A straight-up sociopath, Rabu Ram performs his crimes simply because he can, knowing his ability to create illusions will be able to hide them. Ram's most dangerous skill however, is not his illusion casting, or his mastery of martial arts but his genre savvyness.
