i was confused the entire time, but i still enjoyed myself, it was compelling.

who else has seen this movie? I missed the first 30 minutes yet, but I found it a complete mind fuck. that being said I really want to see the movie again and read the book. what was your experience with the movie?

I thought the film was good but very slow-moving. I found the ending to be a real dissapointment - the film seemed to end just when it was finally getting really interesting.

EDIT: oh that's right Keanu's in it. He's beautifully cast and does a great job actually... seeing as he seemingly plays a brain-damaged drug addict in every film he's in, it makes perfect sense to cast him as one.

Don't be dissing The Reeves! He is/was a great actor, he just has problems, not his fault. Ever seen Point Break? Yeah, you know what I'm talkin' 'bout.

I'm going to disagree with your opinion. I disliked that film. Keanu has a disease that stops him from showing emotion properly.

Also his family died in a car crash didn't they? Thats why he went from normal to depressingly sedate in a very short time. Still I like him and enjoy movies with him in them so I;m gong to keep watching them and you can go watch something else and we'll all be happy and all feel like our opinion won the day.

Read the book. Second favorite book of all time.

Saw the movie. Thought it was great. Robert Downey Jr is amazing in it.
