Yea, I'm the same way. I always start my projects like five days before they're due, and I haven't even started research on it yet.

OT: I would tell my younger self to be more social, learn a form of martial arts, DON'T STEAL THAT MULTI-COLORED PENCIL, and remember my parent's birthdays and anniversary more often.
