So, Lets set the mood. Your best friend has started talking to you (if you dont have a best friend, hold back the tears and imagine.) and they say "Mate, i need to tell you something but you can NOT tell anyone under any circumstances" You agree and he/she tells you. You hear it and you take it in. You shit yourself because its something really bad (worse than finding out he lost his viginity to your mum or something). What would you do?
Would you tell someone with authority or just keep the secret?

This would depend on the person, if it was someone innocent or he/she was gonna do a school shooting or somthing horrific I would first of all try and convince them otherwise, if is a close friend (which it most likely is considering he told me he's gonna kill somebody) then I'd probably be able to convince them, other than that I can't really see any of my close friends killing somebody without a reason, and in the situation where they think their reason is justified I would still attempt to make them reconsider.

All in all I just think other people getting involved just makes the situation worse than it all ready is.
