So here's my conundrum...

For Christmas I received a new Xbox 360 to replace my old, accursed broken one. In the period that I was without a console I succeeded in ceasing to care very much and trading in the great majority of my games and effectively putting an end to any need for an Xbox Live gold subscription. With said console I also received a game that I thoroughly enjoy (ending aside), Fable II; the only game currently in my possession aside from the Orange Box.

This is where my problem comes in. I find it hard to believe that Fable II's online aspect would warrant a purchase of a gold subscription. The Orange Box's beloved Team Fortress 2 doesn't due to the fact that once my old 360 fried, I began playing it on PC, and after experiencing the new game-types, maps, and the joys of a slightly overpowered Direct Hit could never return to the console version. This now is where you come in...

I know that a few 360 games come with forty-eight hour trial subscription cards and would humbly ask if any fellow escapists out there had a spare that they have no use for. If this is the case then I would greatly appreciate someone messaging me the code so that I can confirm my suspicions about Fable II's multiplayer.

While we're at it, why not a discussion on the game's multiplayer itself. Thank-you any and all ahead of time, and apologies to those that this will inevitably cause to rage.
