Please note that it has been a year since i played it.

Killzone

A futuristic First Person Shooter for the Playstation 2.Released in 2004 by Guerrilla Games.

You play as Jan Templar.A captain in the ISA(I don´t remember what it stands for).Despite him being your main character, you can play as 3 other characters.

Sgt. Rico Velasquez.A heavy gunner.
Col. Gregor Hakha.A spy that has infiltrated the Helgan forces. But is half helgan.
Shadow Marshal Luger.I an assassin within the ISA.

Through out the first two chapters you are alone. But after the second chapter you get Shadow Marshal Luger as a playable character and as someone to fight by your side if you still choose to play as Jan.

Graphics

The graphics are nothing to be amazed at but rather good for the time. This game takes a fine eye to detail.

A 7/10.(Please note that i´m comparing to the days it came out.)

Gameplay

The controls are a little clunky but you learn to play with them. There is no down the sight aim but the guns accuracy is good. The sniper scope is a little off but you get through the entire game without using a sniper thankfully. The aiming is smooth.

8/10

Enemies

The Helgans are the enemies in this game.A intelligent race of "humans".They speak with a posh British accent. The AI is good. The Helgans know how to use cover properly and they're grenades don´t have super reach.

9/10

Playing as different characters.

Playing as the characters dose not have a lot of difference. The only difference is the staring weapons of each mission.

All in All

This is a rather entertaining game that you can enjoy for hours on end. There are some minor problem. But nothing to keep you from playing.

This game gets a 8/10 from me.

This is my first review ever.Oh and i did not include a review of the story line since it is not all that great to take note of.

A review lacking in detail but at least it's succinct and to the point; personally I loved Killzone I, and that made the sequel rather underwhelming, the campaign was OK but I found the first much more appealing

Thank you both very much.
Your welcome.
You know if you made the review bit longer, stretched it out and send it to the escapist guest reviews, you never know it could be published then you might get your self a nice paycheck.

All About Guest Reviews - type this in the search bar and read through it.

Wish you luck if you give it a try and keep making reviews.
I´m not to good of a writer to make it any longer. At least in a pinch. That short thing took me 20 minutes.Research included.

I'm pretty sure The Escapist prefers that we give recommendations rather than numerical ratings. As in, would you suggest that somebody buy, rent or shun this game?

You brought back many memories...

Anyway, good review. I like the short and punchy review style. Know I have to go and rebuy this game.

Rent it for just short fun.Buy it if you are a fan of fps games. And don´t shun it at all.Is that what they're looking for?
