A simple question.

A fairly straight-forward question: how many games do you play simultaneously?

I try to finish a game before starting another one, and that has resulted in a pile of backlogged games that I've yet to play. I find that it's easier to get involved in a game's story and gameplay if I play that one game to its conclusion before devoting time to another game.

oh, i have lost count. i start a game, then start another game, then go back to a game i never finished, restart another one from the beginning, start another game, go back... etc. as a guess, i would right now i have 16 games i'm playing simultaneously and still intend to beat. eventually.

I tend to start a game and play it through to the end before going on to another one. I find it easier than something like "Ok, I finally got past that boss on Ratchet and Clank, time to play some Uncharted 2. Or wait, did I already beat that? Maybe I beat Uncharted 1 and thought I beat 2. Then wait, where am I on Prince of Persia?"

Usually two single player games accompanied by one or two multiplayer games.

I usually play only one game for about a month (or two if it kicks ass) then have some massive desire to play another game from my collection for a month or two. Last month I played Sins of a Solar Empire, now I'm playing Dragon Age. So I tend to play one game at a time, just switch it up every month or so.

Oh god okay right now I'm playing about 13 different games. It'll go up or down next week. ...And be different again the week after.

I jump around a lot, especially right now, I'm running two Let's Plays on youtube, plus I'm playing Fallout New Vegas and both Mass Effects, but that's actually for research.

Right now, I've got the entire C&C: First Decade pack, Starcraft 2, NFS: Most Wanted, and Fallout 3 on my plate.

It's been around 5 years, too. Guess it's the thrill of the chase.
