I am not that big of a fan of the Elder Scroll series, but I have been seriously thinking about getting Skyrim on the PS3 and I was curious if they fixed the issue many people had or is it still buggy? Also would I really enjoy the game if I have not enjoyed Oblivion?

Would you recommend Red Dead Redemption instead? I know that game is open sand box and has a great story and you don't have the option to look almost everything you see right?

In your case, I'd recommend Red Dead Redemption. The only thing I'd warn you about is the tutorial missions. Afterwards it is damn good.

Is the tutorial mission long or tedious or just a no brainer tutorial where they just hold your hand through every little thing?

Played and beat red dead, and I don't remember the tutorial being that bad. The game is kinda short, like only 25 hrs long, but it does have that Zombie version too(which I haven't played but I have heard that it is good). As for Skyrim, its a great game, but then again I love the TES series and it is a long game.

I'd have to recommend Red Dead Redemption and yes, get the Undead Nightmare add-on as well. The RDR tutorial isn't that bad and it doesn't really feel like one. They just ease you in to the game mechanics and then unleash you on the open world.

Would it be better to get the GOTY edition? I am not very familiar with the other DLCs that are in the GOTY edition so that is why i ask.
