A Small Reaction

This is a small clip from a post-watershed programme that aired on the BBC a few months ago. How did you react when you saw it? Were you angry? surprised? amazed? amused? ...aroused?

I'm not asking for a debate on morality, I'm just asking what individual Escapists feel when they see this video.

I personally couldn't stop laughing, but I felt kind of weird at the same time.

I want to avoid moralising if at all possible; I'm purely interested in people's reactions to seeing two men kissing.

I was a little surprised at Fry's reaction. It wasn't particularly gross (I'd say passionate, but tasteful).

EVERY time I see that I crack up. The lines like "So THAT'S what it's like!" and "Now I know why my wife married me!" never fail to amuse.

Anyone who gets disgusted or angry at this needs to leave the gene pool as quickly as possible.

I always assumed Stephen Fry was gay, so his reaction was suprising on that front...

From what I remember of an interview with Stephen Fry, he's gay, but finds the whole idea of anal sex rather distasteful. I think Fry's reaction is more that it's two men he knows and would really rather not see kissing! more ' oh no, not you two' than 'oh no, two guys'.

As for the kiss, it was done for laughs and it's not like it was open mouthed tongue flapping goodness, so it's almost more shocking that anyone could be offended.
