Graphically, X Series hands down. But its not fast game play.Ushario said:Bonuses* for storyline, graphics and fast gameplay.

Tie Fighter is the king of all space fighter sims. Too bad older games like that one have such poor compatibility issues with modern computers. I'm tempted to assemble an older machine solely for 90's PC games.acer840 said:I can't think of any good space fighters scince Star Wars: Tie Fighter back in 1994. Sorry
Google "DosBox" my good friend. The latter version supports Joysticks as wellKermi said:Tie Fighter is the king of all space fighter sims. Ah good old Dosbox. I never considered trying dosbox with Tie fighter. I used Dosbox for my old Microprose games. Speaking of which, I could go some Sword of the Samurai right now...acer840 said:Google "DosBox" my good friend. Another vote for Freespace, I really enjoyed those games. Although it does contain one of my all time most annoying missions.aussiesniper said:Freespace 2 with the Freespace Open mod installed. Modern graphics and gameplay in a genre long dead.
