Ok, i need some advice.
So today we had a science test. Normally there are three people who sit at my table, but one of them was gone today so the girl that sits next to me moved over. I finished my test, i looked over to see that she was cheating. She had her notes in the seat next to me and was pulling it in and out and reading from them.
In a normal situation i would have reported her. However, this is a bit more special:
The thing is, she's best friends with the girl who i like, and if i told on her, she would get in tons of trouble and would know i did it, because i sit next to her and don't really approve of the way she acts in class.
Further complicating the situation, not five minutes after she completed the test, our teacher started handing back stuff we had turned in, and she had gotten some bad scores and started telling me about how "stupid this class is" and how our teacher "is way too tough on us" even though in every example she brought up, it was because she wasn't following directions or plain not paying attention in class.
As i said, cheating isn't cool and i would have told on her, but she would know it was me and tell her best friend, and it would ruin my chances with her (the girl i like).
So what do i do?

What I don't understand is why you would have told on her?, If she was cheating off you it would have made sense. But to be honest she's only screwing herself over so don't bother. It's not your problem it's hers. If she complains to you about the teacher and you don't really care about her just mutter some general agreement and show dis-interest in the topic.

As in sense the real thing that worried me is the fact you would have reported her for cheating. And to that I can only offer advice of paying attention to your own work. If she cheats using you go ahead, but form the way you made it sound she was using her own notes.

I recommend just ignoring it, You don't need to get involved and you shouldn't really.

Edit: This only of course stands for if you're in high school if it's in college then rat on her ass.

She's apparently going to fail, anyways, so I'd say just let it go.
