So I have all 5 of the Fallout DLC but recently, the game claims that the "Content required for save is unavailable". So I just figured I would re-download the DLC.

However, when I plugged my Xbox into the internet, the DLC worked fine without me re-downloading anything.

What should I do?

I have had the ame problem with oblivion. It really annoys me. I think its some kind of liscensing thing to stop you from spreading the dlc through multiple consoles. but dont quote me on that

I don't see a problem here...
Thats not possible or I would leave it plugged into the internet all the time

Ah, well you should have mentioned that.

I've had the same problem, and the only way to remedy it really is to be connected when you play.

I think I have a similar problem sometimes, albeit with different games. It forgets that I've downloaded the DLC, so I have to either download it again (which only takes around 3 seconds as it just finds the file and accesses it again) or find a way to make it remember.

I've played Fallout 3 and it's dlc just fine without being connected to live!
Its something else maybe what that other guy said about it being a corrupted save file.

Buy a long cable and a splitter.

Problem solved, and you can now use your box on the Net all the time.
