And yet we've screwed it up with no tax breaks.

We got nothing on Korea...
But then again, the UK probably plays more games outside of Blizzard's.

Well makes sense, everyone I know under the age of 50 seems to play the odd game every now and then, even if its usually only Call of duty or wii sports.

Yeah but then you consider that for "most" computer gamers they mean farmville, diner dash and other such casual games that carry less stigma. You can't really count those free computer games on the same level as actual, £40 purchases.

That all sounds like BS to be honest.

I dont know anyone that plays pc games but i know at least 20 xbox and ps3 gamers.

and NO ONE plays on the wii around here at least
I don't know any PC gamers but I know LOTS of PS3 gamers and just as many 360 gamers.

I know one person who owns a Wii.

I wonder what percentage of their stats cover Farmville etc? I don't really consider people who play iPhone games as 'gamers', for all intents and purposes.

Besides, statistics are BS and mostly made up. I'd bet 93.4% of gamers would agree with me there ;)

Apparently on STEAM and Xbox Live (well the X-box live one I haven't seen proper statistics for yet) people in the UK (meaning not just England) use voice chat the least lol.
Probally something to do with all the screaming Americans.

[sup]Seriously. You USA folks love the sound of your own voices. It's worrying.[/sup]

It is great to hear that there is another bastion of PC gaming other then Korea. Go Britain! =) That said, I imagine most of the "PC gaming" category counts things like Farmville. =(

Anyway, nice to see that gaming is on the rise in Britain. Hopefully, this will force their politicians to be a bit more generous to the local gaming industry.
