That is the plus side of the 3DS. It takes SD cards/MicroSD's with adapter. It is much cheaper to get a 32GB SD then Vita Memory card.

Plus a number of the more popular Retail games are for sale on the eShop. Mainly the ones made by Nintendo but I am pretty sure there are some 3rd parties on the eShop.
The big problem is that the 3DS doesn't have a lot of games I want. So I can afford the storage, but I'll never really use it.

Meh, make it cheaper and you got me. I buy literally all of my PC games digitally anyway, I have even bought a few 3DS games that way. I make plenty of money, but with the cost and title selection of Vita, there is no reason to own it. I play all my favorite older games on an emulator on my PC anyway. The battery life for the Vita is far too short to actually take on the road, IMO. I know people who have one and it doesn't leave their house.

How do you store unused games on the PC?
Use the Content Manager Assistant. It should install itself on your PC when you connect your Vita for the first time. Failing that you can download it from Sony's website directly. You just plug in your Vita, choose a destination path to store your Photo/Video/Music/App files and copy to and fro at your leisure.

Meh, not impressed. It's only because the only games worth playing on Vita are old PS1 and PSP games, and the only reason the number isn't higher is because of two massive failures by Sony:

1. Memory card prices are still too high.
2. They still don't have the full library of digital PS1 and PSP games available on Vita yet. This one is especially stupid, there's just no excuse for it. It's sheer incompetence. Just going to leave this here rather than spending a bunch of time writing out a few paragraphs of rant: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/jimquisition/6244-Sonys-Begging-For-Piracy

There's no guarantee they'll all be good games, of course, but even a few quality titles would be a boost for the platform.
Even if there was just one quality title this year, that would be a huge boost to the platform. Just think if Sony doubled the number of good Vita games! Vita could have TWO WHOLE GAMES unique to it* that are worth playing!

*Yeah, ports don't count. Take all your cross buy games and your old PS2 ports like Persona and shove 'em, Sony. I didn't buy a Vita to play games I could be playing on my TV.

Oh wow... flamebaiting much?

Gravity Rush is a great exclusive title, as is Wipeout 2048. There are plenty of other non-exclusive titles that look and play fantastically on the Vita, too. And there's cross-play. I can share my saves for Sly Cooper or Retro City Rampage between the PS3 and the Vita so I don't have to wait until I get home to play games on my TV. I'll grant you that the library is small. I'll also grant you that the system isn't everyone's cup of tea, but broad statements based on YOUR personal preferences are just moronic. Sony's business strategies aren't based on YOUR personal preferences... and I'm pretty sure we're ALL better off for it.

Right now, the Vita is mostly potential and knowing Sony, that's likely where it'll stay for a LONG time. It's a very powerful and flexible system for a handheld. While I'm certainly disappointed that they're not going all out with it (Sony North America never goes all out with anything, but that's a different topic for another time), I'm interested in where it might go.

Then again, I could just be wasting my time talking to some unreasonable Sony hater... not an actual fan of video games. I certainly hope the former's not the case...

The Vita is superb for watching movies too, given a choice between watching a film on my Galaxy SIII or the Vita and I would choose the Vita. Better battery life and the screen is damn gorgeous, doesn't have the same colour saturation some OLED screens seem to get. PS+ is a brilliant service too, all those instant games for the cost of XBL gold sub? Brilliant, even better value if you have a PS3 too. Free games for both and all those discounts amd its tied to accounts not devices, I was all Xbox earlier this gen (console wise, PC gamer mostly). PS3 was expensive and the PSP was underwhelming, they have really turned it around with loads of great exclusives and a great online service. Gravity Rush is pretty original and fun game to play for example, plus you do not have to pay a sub to get the privilege of a dashboard plastered with adds like with XBL.

You are right about the Vita not being for everyone, some might consider it on the expensive side and having full console experience in a handheld is not something everyone is looking for. It is a bucket load of potential though, Sony have the habit of dropping the ball though. They create a device or service with potential then much it up somehow.

To be honest, I've been only downloading games for the Vita. Though, that's because they're free. Loving PSN+!

Though, it may also be because I looked around and the only Vita game I couldn't get for free that interested me was Metal Gear Solid HD.

I've downloaded a bunch of PS+ titles (Uncharted and Gravity Rush for no extra cost? Yes please) and got physical copies as well. It's nice to have the option of either one. Sony really bit themselves in the ass with the overpriced, proprietary memory cards, lowering the price of the Vita is the smartest way to offset the price of an $80 32gb card. Digital copies are much more valuable on the PS3 than the Vita, however, since PS3 still lets you gameshare to one other account on a different console, so you and your buddy can go half on those titles at least, while the Vita makes sure your digital purchases CANNOT be shared on another's Vita. Also, for some weird reason, it seems Cross-Play only works if you purchase the title on the PS3, not on the Vita. For the Vita, physical is still the best way to go if it's available, but Hotline Miami and hopefully more titles will definitely be worth the digital purchase when it comes out.
