now we have all gotten very sick of DRM, for reasons that i cant really remember now, but thats not the point. my idea was that the developers could use a database where all the sellers of the game log how many games they have sold onto said database. then the computer spits out a randomly generated code that the game needs that does something.....maybe de-encrypts the files, or melds the parts of the game together, something vital, something not easily replicated, especially for many different copies. this is similar to the ink tag on clothes that you buy from a department store or something. in this way, games can easily be traded and re- sold. i suppose that people could just get a copy and copy that, but....hmmm. i suppose that each user could give the developer a dollar to move the game code to their console/computer.... or the database could use an internet connection to make sure that the amount of games played doesnt exceed the amount of games originally sold......i dunno, any thoughts?
