Oh, also, I learned that Sturgeon's Law [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SturgeonsLaw] is in full effect at all times. Specially on DeviantArt... if there is anyone place I would want to be made into a physical object, it would be DeviantArt, so I could firebomb the shit out of that place.

Some people have way too much time on thier hands.
also, that there is much im missing i need 72 hours in a day.
That somone actually made a scientific essay about laws of stupidity (http://www.searchlores.org/realicra/basiclawsofhumanstupidity.htm) which does seem to apply.

I also thank internet for converting me from a naive optimist to a realist.

This. And that on the internet, men are men, women are men, and children are the FBI.

Whatever you want, you can find it.

Be it plans for a full auto submachinegun, a nuclear bomb that has such a crude design it probably puts Little Boy to shame, or chloroform.

Or just lyrics for that Nirvana song that you have a hard time understanding.

No, they are just mad because it takes the effort away.

"Do this work without Wikipedia"

Big boys go to wikipedia, go to the external links, and carry on from there.

It's more "to the point" than google and you can actually quote scientific work instead of putting up with Wikipedia's "weasel words"

No matter what fetish you may have, there is a type of porn for it.
You will always find SOMEONE who can agree with you, no matter how unpopular your opinion may seem.
You can convince anyone of anything as long as you use the "Loose Change" method of "documentary" film making.
There are truly terrible people out there and they look as normal as anyone.
If you dig deep enough into the internet you will find you are a truly terrible person with terrible thoughts in your head.
But most of all, I have learned that the internet is the most wonderful and disgusting invention humanity has ever conceived...

What have I learned from the grim truth of the internet?

We're all going to hell.

Very quickly.

In a handbasket.

Made of needles.

I'll see y'all there.

And it will be creepy and hilarious.

I've had profs say not to cite wikipedia itself but use the links on there instead.

Oh wow. I was gonna type something, but this. This is it.
there are more ninja's on the internet then Japaneses history (see above for example)

spelling and grammar are optional

'if it exists, there is porn of it' is both true and depressing at the same time

if your opinion differs from the groups, your wrong

the things that deserve praise the least will get it the most

Tried it for about 5 minutes using "rabbits" and ended up getting stuck in a loop involving various bits of Wikipedia policy.

Edit: I'm assuming you meant from any article in Wikipedia.

9 times out of 10 Wikipedia is correct.

also, if you have a question, why are you asking human beings? Google it.
I ask questions to a human being because human communication is better than the sterile, lifeless and sometimes misleading solution you can get from Googling it. Especially if it's a bloated topic.

The last time a friend told me to google something, I did, and it took me two pages of searching to get to the definition that he was intending. It would have been far more practical if he took the extra 10 seconds to type out a short explanation of what he meant, as opposed to myself having to bounce back wrong answers and wait for replies.

Here's a truth about the internet: You can find a tutorial on Youtube on how to do just about anything. The problem is, only a small percentage of the tutors are well-informed and will likely give you inaccurate advice or amateur methods. If you want to learn how to do something professionally, buy books, take a course, or learn from a mentor. Don't chance it to the internet.

If you've seen, played, read, or consumed an obscure/obsolete form of media in your life, there's a good chance you can find it on the internet again... that is, if you don't run into the porn of it first. (Thanks rule 34.)

Well to quote ChipCheezum: "What I have learned from these people is that anything can be made sexual [...] You know what my fetish is? My fetish is for still photos of bored women. Nothing gets me going like a bored woman, you know like their eyes start to sort of glaze over..."

So yeah, that's pretty much it along with if you hit rock bottom it isn't the end, people somehow grab a shovel and dig themselves an even bigger hole.

Critical Miss. Don't ask how I know.

PS: I know 'cause I looked. No reason.

PPS: There was a reason.

That I am not the best at anything. Any time I thought I got good enough at anything to beat everyone I knew, someone on the internet would be better.
