A Twilight Princess Question.

In Hyrule Castle, there is the graveyard, in the back. I remember doing it completly, but I didn't really get anything needed for clearing the dungeon. Either that or I don't remember getting anything needed for it.

So...why is it there? Other then a bit of filler...

There's a small key that unlocks a room full of treasure right before the final boss fight (haven't played it in about 4 years, no idea how I remember that).
